Election Day will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Waller County will be conducting the elections.

The City of Waller is a General Law Type "A" city and has five Council members that serve at Large for the City and one Mayor. Terms are for two years.
Qualified electors will be electing 3 offices, 3 City Council at large, Position 3, Position 4, and Position 5 for the City of Brookshire in May of 2026.
2026 Elections
- Candidate Packets for the May 2026 General Election are available to be picked up at the City Secretary's office from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. The offices of the City Council will appear on this Ballot.
- Filings will be accepted during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm and there is no fee to file.
- Registered voters within the City of Brookshire can vote during Early Voting or on Election Day.
- The City Secretary's Office is responsible for overseeing municipal elections, including serving as the contract administrator for election services through Waller County.
- The City Secretary's Office will be receiving all required candidate filings (including campaign finance reports) and conducting a drawing for the order in which names will appear on the ballot.
- Early Voting will be from Monday, April 20, 2026, to Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
- General Elections are held on the first Saturday of May.
